The Final Four for the NCAA’s March Madness tournament is set. Duke University will face the Houston Cougars. The University of Florida will face the Auburn Tigers. This is the first time since 2008 that the last four teams were all 1 seeds in the tournament. How did each team make it to the Final Four?
The University of Florida Gators are into the final four for the first time since 2014. They started their campaign with wins over Norfolk State and Uconn, then snuck past Texas Tech. Led by Walter Clayton Jr, the Gators hope to win it all.
Powerhouse Duke continues their triumph into the final four, a familiar state for the Blue Devils. First, they crushed St.Marys, then Baylor, followed by Arizona. On Saturday they defeated Alabama, punching a Final Four ticket. Led by Cooper Flagg, the Blue Devils are ready to rumble.
The University of Houston Cougars are under the radar, despite being 1st in the Big 12. As the 1 seed, they beat SIUE, Gonzaga, Purdue, then Tennessee. It will be interesting to see how they match up against Duke.
Auburn is ready for an SEC clash with the Gators. They started their campaign with wins over Alabama State, Crieghton, Michigan, then Michigan State. They now face UF on Saturday.
